Anesthesiologists - generalist/cardiac/peds

The Albany Medical Center is excited to announce several openings for academic anesthesiologists due to expansion in clinical services (open rank). Enjoy working with a team where you can stay at the top of your profession while providing patient care in a quaternary institution utilizing the anesthesia care team model, didactic and clinical instruction for residents, SRNAs and medical students. Participation in clinical and educational research is encouraged and mentorship is provided. Candidates with training/experience in cardiac, pediatric, regional, neurosurgical, critical care and general anesthesia are sought to join our broad-based practice. Assistant Professor salaries range from $376,000 – $396,000 based on experience. Salary range for higher ranks will be discussed following interview.

Approximately 45,000 anesthetics are provided each year across all major specialties in the Main operating rooms, out-of-OR locations, as well as a variety of ASC and office-based settings.  AMC is a 766-bed tertiary care facility that serves as the primary teaching hospital for the Albany Medical College and is the region’s only Level 1 Adult and Pediatric trauma center in 25 counties and 40,000 square miles.  AMC also includes 130 beds in the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital with 2100 deliveries and almost 7000 discharges per year.
