The RUSH Department of Anesthesiology Residency Program is seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate/Assistant Residency Program Director who is committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment for its residents. This role is key to upholding the program’s tradition of producing outstanding anesthesiologists and clinicians, while working closely with the Program Director and the administrative education team to ensure residents achieve their full potential.

This is a premier opportunity to shape one of the largest and most comprehensive anesthesiology residency programs in the nation. With over 80 residents and subspecialties that include cardiac, regional, pain, pediatric, and obstetric anesthesia, the program provides trainees with the skills and experience to excel in both academic and community settings.

The Role & Responsibilities
The Associate Residency Program Director will play a pivotal role, overseeing all aspects of the ACGME-accredited residency program while ensuring compliance with ABA and institutional standards. Key duties include curriculum development, resident evaluation, recruitment, and fostering an environment of educational excellence.
