Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative & Pain Medicine

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University seeks highly motivated individuals who have completed training in anesthesiology to join the department at any rank in the Clinician Educator Line or University Medical Line.

The department is actively recruiting Clinician Educators for these divisions: Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, Multispeciality Anesthesia, and Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. 

Candidates must have an MD, DO, or foreign equivalent, be board-certified or eligible for certification, and eligible for a California medical license or exemption. Successful applicants will spend a portion of time in clinical anesthesia.

The university’s good faith estimate of the base pay range for this position is $412,000 to $496,000. This range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
