WVU School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology are seeking a Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to join our growing academic medical center.
The Opportunity
- Practice in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary transplant and surgical teams
- Join a growing academic anesthesiology department performing 40,000+ procedures annually
- Opportunities for clinical education, research, and academic advancement
What We’re Looking For
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency or equivalent
- Board certified/board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in:
- Liver transplantation
- Hepatobiliary surgery
- Complex perioperative care
- Fellowship training in Transplant Anesthesiology, Critical Care, or a related subspecialty highly preferred
