The Department of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College is excited to announce several openings for academic Anesthesiologists due to expansion in clinical services (open rank). Need for generalists as well as fellowship trained anesthesiologists (OB, Neuro, Regional, Chronic Pain, Critical Care, Cardiac, Pediatrics). Enjoy working with a team where you can stay at the top of your profession while providing patient care in a tertiary institution utilizing the anesthesia care team model, didactic and clinical instruction for residents, SRNAs and medical students.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Work within a flexible staffing pattern within a 40-hr work week
• Call and No Call track options available
• Work in the only academic medical center in the Capital Region of New York
• Participate in clinical and educational research with mentorship
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes throughout the perioperative period

Approximately 45,000 anesthetics are provided each year across all major specialties in the main operating rooms, out-of-OR locations, as well as a variety of ASC and office-based settings.

NEWLY APPROVED PAY PLAN!

• Competitive base salary range:
  • Assistant Professor $433,000-522,000
  • Associate Professor $444,000-535,000
  • Professor $455,000-548,000.
• Annual quality bonus of 5% of base salary.
• Plenty of overtime opportunities are available for additional compensation
• Sign on bonus up to $45,000 and relocation up to $10,000.
